North Carolina at Chapel Hill and also studied at The University

of Lyon, France, and The Art Students League of New York. She is the

co-founder (with her husband, John Howard Sanden) of the Portrait

Institute. She has taught portrait painting in New York at The Portrait

Institute and in seminars and workshops across America.
